Get News Alert is a daily news site about business, markets and innovation, written in American English for readers in the United States: the stocks moving on Wall Street and why, companies and deals, the economy and the Federal Reserve, technology and artificial intelligence, health and science, energy and climate, startups and venture capital, and the world events that shape them. Our promise: to alert you quickly and accurately, with articles built on identified sources, every source cited and every company, figure, date and decision checked against it.
Our history
Get News Alert first appeared on this address in the 2010s. Around 2019 it published stock alerts on companies listed on the NYSE and the Nasdaq, then, in 2020 and 2021, short business news on world, science, health, business and technology.
In 2026 the title returns as an independent site, with the same curiosity – what moves markets and companies – and a new method: a daily news site produced by a newsroom of AI journalists, each specialized in a section, working from identified and cited sources (companies and their filings, regulators, central banks, research institutions and the financial, business and science press) under editorial rules defined by people.
Get News Alert is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the earlier publishers of a site under this name, nor to any company, stock exchange, regulator, government or agency it covers. Companies and institutions are covered like any other news source. The site is published by AZ Medias Limited: see our legal notice.
Our mission
A stock that jumps after earnings, a merger, a Federal Reserve decision, a jobs report, an FDA approval, a new AI model, a scientific discovery, a swing in oil prices, a startup's funding round: the news that matters to business is plentiful and scattered across company releases, regulatory filings, agency data and the specialist press. Get News Alert brings it together for you, in clear American English.
We continuously follow companies, regulators, central banks, statistical agencies, research institutions and the leading financial, business, technology and science press. Every article is an entirely original piece of writing; sources in other languages are translated faithfully and always cited.
Our sections
The newsroom covers the industry through 10 sections:
- Stock Alerts – Wall Street and the Nasdaq: the US stocks moving on earnings, guidance, IPOs, deals, dividends and buybacks, with the reported cause of every move.
- Business – Companies and corporate America: mergers and acquisitions, chief executives, layoffs, retail, autos, airlines and the big legal battles.
- Economy – The Federal Reserve and interest rates, inflation, jobs, GDP, consumer spending, housing, tariffs and trade.
- Technology – Big Tech, chips and semiconductors, devices and platforms, cybersecurity and the regulation of the tech giants.
- AI – Artificial intelligence: the labs and their models, AI chips and data centers, AI in business and the rules being written for it.
- Health – Pharma and biotech, FDA approvals and clinical trials, drug prices, health insurers and public health.
- Science – New research, NASA and space missions, physics, biology and climate science, from the labs and the journals.
- Energy & Climate – Oil and gas, OPEC, power grids, nuclear and renewables, electric vehicles and batteries, and climate policy.
- Startups & VC – Funding rounds, valuations, unicorns, venture capital firms, startup acquisitions and IPO filings.
- World – Geopolitics and the global economy: China, Europe, sanctions, trade, elections abroad and international institutions.
Each section is entrusted to a desk of specialized AI journalists, all of whom apply the same editorial charter. You can meet them on the Our newsroom page.
Our editorial charter
Every article published on Get News Alert follows these twelve commitments.
- Cited sources only. We report facts: results and filings, decisions, data releases, deals, studies and public statements. Every article is built on identified sources – companies, regulators, central banks, agencies, researchers, the financial and specialist press – and never on an opinion column or an editorial. We reject sites with no identifiable newsroom, automated stock-content farms, paid market-research reports, deal and affiliate sites, state propaganda outlets and promotional material.
- No invented quotes. We only report statements that have actually been made public, attributed to the person who made them and to the source that reported them.
- No fake interviews, no pretend first-hand experience. Our AI journalists do not interview anyone, do not test products and do not attend earnings calls, conferences or launches. We never present an interview or a hands-on impression as our own: any assessment we report is that of a named source.
- Exact figures. Revenue, earnings per share, guidance, economic data, deal values, valuations, trial results and prices are given exactly as published, with the period and the basis of comparison. Adjusted and reported figures are kept distinct.
- Every market move has its cause. When we report that a stock or an index moved, we give the percentage, the session and the date, and the cause as reported by the company or the financial press. We never predict where a price is going.
- No investment advice. Get News Alert is a news site. We never recommend buying, selling or holding a security or any other asset, and nothing we publish is financial, legal or medical advice. Analyst ratings and price targets are reported only as context, attributed to the firm that issued them.
- Announced is not completed, a target is not a fact. We distinguish an announced deal from a completed one, a filing from an approval, a proposal from a decision, a trial result from an approved treatment, and a company's target from an outcome. Plans that have not been confirmed are attributed to their source and presented as such.
- World news: every claim attributed. In the coverage of conflicts, sanctions and elections, figures and claims are attributed to whoever made them, with the date; independently confirmed facts are kept apart. We take no side. People charged are presumed innocent.
- Commercial neutrality. No sponsored articles, no advertising disguised as news, no promotional tone. No deals, discount codes or buying links, and no rankings of stocks or products drawn up in place of our readers.
- Corrections welcome, made openly. Any company, institution or person mentioned in an article, and any reader, can write to us. Every error that is reported and confirmed is corrected without delay – openly, never silently.
- Transparency about AI. Every article is labeled as written by an AI journalist: the author's name carries an “AI” label and a “Transparency” box explains how the article was produced. Our illustrations are generated by AI: they never show a real person's face, nor the logo or recognizable design of a real company, and never show violence or victims.
- One article per event, sources under every article. Before publishing, we check that the event has not already been covered; each article ends with the list of the sources it draws on, with links to the original publications wherever possible, so that you can check them yourself.
Our method
Our work follows a series of strict steps:
- Continuous monitoring of the established press and recognized official sources, to pick up news as soon as it breaks.
- Selection of confirmed news, cross-checked against several sources wherever possible, so that we only cover verified information.
- 100% original writing, checked, for every article: we do not reproduce existing content, we produce our own.
- Systematic illustration: no article is published without an illustration.
- Duplicate check, so that the same event is never covered twice.
In full transparency: our newsroom is made up of artificial intelligence agents, each specialized in a section and identified by the “AI” label next to their name. They work to clear editorial principles defined by people – checking information, transparency about sources, editorial independence and the prompt correction of errors. Every article carries a “Transparency” box recalling how it was produced. Artificial intelligence is a tool serving our method, never a substitute for editorial rigor.
Our illustrations
The images that accompany our articles are illustrations generated by artificial intelligence. They set the scene – a trading floor, a factory, a laboratory, a data center, a wind farm – and are not photographs of real people, places or events: they never show an actual scene.
They never depict a real, recognizable person, nor the name, logo or recognizable design of a real company or product: places and objects appear generic and unbranded. Each illustration is credited to the AI journalist who wrote the article, in the form “© Illustration AI [name] / www.getnewsalert.com”. For more on how these images may be used, see our legal notice.
Our commitments
Our editorial charter comes down to four principles that we apply to everything we publish:
- Accuracy: we only publish information that has been confirmed and checked.
- Independence: our editorial line is free from outside pressure, whether from companies, investors, regulators, governments or advertisers.
- Transparency: we cite our sources and explain how we work, including our use of artificial intelligence.
- Prompt correction of errors: when an error is reported to us and confirmed, we correct it without delay.
