Hamriyah Free Zone & Rafid ally to build integrated technical centre

UAE’s Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) has recently collaborated with Rafid Automotive Solutions, a non-governmental organization in Sharjah, to develop an integrated technical centre within the free zone and to offer vehicle repair, inspection, maintenance, and registration services along with roadside assistance.

Apart from publicizing Sharjah's competitive edge, this collaboration agreement will also empower the effort by both parties to update their services to investors in free zones.

As per credible sources, the pact was inked at the HFZA headquarters by Hamriyah Free Zone Authority Director, Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, and Salem Saeed Al Midfa, Chief Executive Officer of Rafid Vehicle Solutions. Several senior officials of both organizations were also present during the signing.

Commenting on this strategic move, Saud Salim Al Mazrouei said, this collaboration between HFZA and Rafid will enhance the proficiency of services offered to business community in Sharjah, in line with the instructions of the Sharjah government, which always prioritizes private-public collaborations to assist the wider community.

He further stated that HFZA would leverage all of its available resources for providing top-notch services with the maximized standard of efficiency, quality and effectiveness, as well as develop advanced solutions that would improve companies' journey within its borders.

Al Midfa highlighted that Rafid offers its cutting-edge solutions based on updated technologies under a supervision of a leading team while obeying the best global standards, especially when maintaining, inspecting, and repairing vehicles or offering support services required by investors.

This new collaboration with HFZA will play a key role in enlarging Rafid's ambit in several regions and cities of the emirate, said Al Midfa.

Apart from offering industrial and commercial plots of land, HFZA, the second-major industrial-free zone based in UAE, also offers superior infrastructure and advanced facilities that reinforce plans of external expansions for investors, specifically in re-exporting and importing to the world's markets.
