Accenture plc, a multinational company that provides consulting and professional services, has finalized the acquisition of Cloudworks, a Toronto-based Oracle Cloud implementation service provider. With this acquisition, Accenture plans on boosting its capabilities to supply Oracle solutions to clients that are moving to cloud technology.
Cloudworks, launched in 2016, is a strategic, business, and technology consulting firm and is best recognized for Oracle Cloud-based solutions in Enterprise Performance Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Human Capital Management.
It delivers industry-leading capabilities in RPA (robotic process automation), AI (artificial intelligence), and data analytics which help clients get the most out of their Oracle Cloud investments.
The industries that the organization serves include retail, real estate, financial services, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, public sector, telecommunications & media, utilities and energy, and higher education.

Accenture Canada’s acquisition of Cloudworks marks as the third purchase deal made by the firm last year. In 2020, Accenture acquired Callisto Integration, an Oakville, Ontario-based provider of consulting and technology services in digital manufacturing for the chemicals, utilities, food and beverage, & other industries and Avenai, an Ottawa-based public-sector consulting firm.
