For a week now, the Le Cardinal restaurant on Rue de la Loire has been offering take-away meals for lunch.
“During the first delivery, we didnt think about starting this activity. We dont have employees and we own the walls. However, the prospects for an upcoming opening are uncertain. We have to pay the social fees, which are being postponed for now. We want to reconnect with our customers we miss. People order online or by phone and we are waiting for them. We no longer have the contact that makes the job attractive, â€explains Stéphanie Jassin, co-manager of the company with her husband David. From his kitchen he says: 'I have the impression that I work in a fast food restaurant'.
